My name is Erin Yu and I currently own and operate Beautiful The Permanent Make-Up Clinic, formerly called the Second Life Clinic. The clinic was established in 1985 by Dr. Blanca Vanier. She was the first person to bring this art to the west. Edmonton’s renowned Dr. Blanca Vanier personally trained me and after becoming certified I continued to work side by side with Dr. Vanier, full time, for another year. This intense training allowed me to increase my knowledge and take my skills to the next level. On April 1, 2008 Dr. Vanier officially retired from the art of applying permanent make up and in great confidence she allowed me to take over the clinic. The Second Life Clinic then became Beautiful The Permanent Make-Up Clinic.
